than a few decades up in here with all you STRANGE complex creatures
(myself "obviously" included)...
My kinda guy? Ol' RODNEY KING... brother withstood a SERIOUS gang-assault
from a BUNCH of asshole, dumnbell, quasi-criminals with badges and power of
law backing their job-inadequate asses... AND Mr. King STILL spoke for
"Universal Peace"(obviously, 'not best response to all ass-kickin'situations...)
But he was that "BetterMan"...Bless Him...
A "couple" of the criminal cops rightfully spent some time in lockup while all
were eventually fired:
*The jury found 2 of the criminal cops guilty, and they were subsequently
sentenced to 30 months in prison. Two other criminal cops were acquitted
of all charges, but
both were soon dismissed by the LAPD for their role in the
thug-style beatdown).
***I will leave up my suggestion about how to "fix" the cop problem.
WHICH IS: Raise the standards by a mile...same with pay and
incentive... make them truly "special". Think Navy Seals PLUS-PLUS-PLUS.
Right now, WAY too many are not of the "Right Stuff".
*Personally? ...'know feeling of COUNTLESS trailings and stops... a few guns
drawn and all the f'n barking that goes with it...AND one out of vehicle/face
down on sidewalk...middle of Wilshire business-district-LA AT LUNCHTIME!
(every f''n body froze, scramblin' and watchin' the show)... WORST part of that
one was the unnecessary comments made by a few a-hole cops... passin' by as I
sat cuff-chained at the station. One Black cop--after realization I was "not"
THAT Negro... telling me a story about HIMSELF being stopped while on way
to "work"...and having to make clear HE had a gun and was a cop--his
way, I guess...of relating...to make me feel better... it didn't.
And "NO"... I did not and do not see myself as a "victim". But RATHER a
survivor/"experiencer" of a bunch of yahoos with some being the LAST folks
who should be given the serious job of Police Officer... (hate the "victim crap"...)
...Fix the f'n thing... raise the standards and the incentives...
